1. Who we are

Maryland Dentist Finder (“we”, “us”) runs this website, a directory of dental offices in Maryland. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

2. Using the directory

You can search the directory without an account. Please use it for finding and contacting dental offices, and not to copy the directory in bulk or to send unwanted marketing to the offices listed.

3. Listings and accuracy

Listings start from the federal NPI registry, a public list kept by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Offices can claim their listing and add details such as insurance plans and hours. We show where information came from and when it was last checked, but we can’t promise every detail is current. Confirm hours, plans and new-patient status with the office before your visit.

4. Not medical advice

Nothing on this site is medical or dental advice, and listing an office is not a recommendation. In an emergency, call 911.

5. Practice accounts

• Only the owner or an authorized manager of a dental office may claim its listing. We confirm this with a code sent to the office phone on the listing, a work email at the office’s own website, or documents you send us.
• Keep your listing accurate. Changes to an office name or street address are checked by us before they show.
• By adding details and photos, you confirm you have the right to use them and give us permission to show them on this site and in links to it.
• Keep access to your email secure. You’re responsible for changes made from your account.

6. Premium and payment

• Premium is an optional monthly plan for dental offices. The current price is shown on the For dentists page.
• Billing. Plans renew automatically until you cancel. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
• Cancelling. Contact us to cancel at any time. Premium features stay on until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then your listing goes back to free. We don’t give partial refunds.
• Labels. Premium listings are shown first in results and always carry a “Premium” label.
• Price changes. We’ll email you at least 30 days before any price change to a plan you’re on.

7. What’s not allowed

• False or misleading information about an office, a dentist or your qualifications.
• Claiming an office you don’t own or manage.
• Scraping the site in bulk, or trying to break or overload it.
• Anything illegal, or content you don’t have the right to post.

8. Disclaimers and limits

This site is a directory. We don’t provide dental care, and any treatment you receive is between you and the office. The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you haven’t paid us anything.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll say so on the site or by email before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Maryland.
